An exciting opportunity for an experienced purchasing assistant to join a market leading engineering company based in Crewe.
The role is fast paced and requires a candidate with experience within a purchasing environment with the skills to purchase and arrange transportation in a timely and accurate manner.
Booking in goods received and processing movement of material/goods throughout the business
Obtain quotes from suppliers and forwarders
Monitor stock levels and create PO's as required
Arrange domestic and international freight and resolve issues
Support month end and year end processes
Liaise with internal departments, suppliers and forwarders
Excellent computer and numeracy skills
Experience of working in a similar role desirable
Good attention to detail
Able to work off own initiative and be self motivated Similar role could be; Senior Administrator, PA, Transport Planner, Transport Coordinator, Buyer, Office Manager.
