Domestic Assistant

Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital, NR4 7UY

Monday to Friday (7:00AM - 2:30PM)

Pay Rate: £9.48 per hour 

Here at Serco, we are looking for Domestic Assistants to join our team at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping the hospital clean and safe from infection control. This is a fundamental role within the hospital, and domestic assistants will be expected to clean departments and wards to hygiene standard, including cleaning floors, work surfaces, furnishings and related equipment manually and by use of machines. The post holder will also empty, dispose and replace clinical and domestic waste areas. 

Additional Information: There is no parking on site, you would have to be able to use public transport or the Ring & Ride service.

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who are passionate about patient care and working within a healthcare environment. Not only will you be making sure the hospital is clean, you will be interacting with patients on a daily basis, so good communication is also important!
