This is an interesting and wide-ranging position that works under the Department Administrator in providing excellent administrative support and proactively responding to daily enquiries from students, members of academic and administrative staff, both by email and in person.

The College of Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences is seeking to appoint a Department Administration Assistant.
This is an interesting and wide-ranging position that works under the Department Administrator in providing excellent administrative support and proactively responding to daily enquiries from students, members of academic and administrative staff, both by email and in person.
The sucessful candidate will support the Brunel Design School Department Administrator in activities such as administrative and secretarial support, raising purchase requests, submitting expense claims, organising & taking minutes of meetings. Additionally they will the focal point for the department’s Employability initiative and proving administrative support for conferences. The person will be very proactive, able to work unsupervised, show initiative & diplomacy, have excellent diary management skills with good attention to detail and must have experience of a similar administrative role.
