£7,049 - £7,455 (16 Hours per week, Term-time only)
Craigie Primary School, Perth
We are looking for an enthusiastic, nurturing and caring individual to join our small, welcoming team.
You should have a genuine interest and commitment to working with children in a professional capacity within an early learning and childcare environment.
This is a permanent 16 hours per week contract, working between 10.45am and 2.00pm, Monday to Friday, during term time.
The Individual
The role is child focused which requires compassion, patience and sensitivity. A welcoming approach is also needed to generate a feeling of trust and safety for children and their family/carers. An interest in the development of children and their wellbeing is essential and the important qualities are kindness, ability to work in a team, respectfulness and to respect confidentiality at all times.
As a Play Assistant you will need to demonstrate a commitment to achieving the required qualification within the timescales set by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
