Morrison Water Services is currently looking to recruit an Assistant SHEQ Advisor to work on our Yorkshire Water Contracts in Yorkshire .
As an Assistant SHEQ Advisor you will be part of the SHEQ Team who are responsible for ensuring the delivery of legislative compliance and promote continuous improvement of Safety and performance
Morrison Water Services carries out work on both the clean water drinking network and the waste water network on behalf of Yorkshire Water.
As an Assistant SHEQ Advisor your duties & responsibilities will be:
Active role in management of contract SHEQ matters
Foster the development of SHEQ skills within operational line management
Ensure consistent implementation of SHEQ standards across the contract
Influence and Support operational personnel to deliver their SHEQ responsibilities
Carry out ‘out of hours’ site visits
Assist the SHEQ Manager in ensuring SHEQ compliance
Deliver training when required both on site and depots
Assist and deliver Morrison Water Services inductions
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
Knowledge of legislative requirements and best practice in Safety, Health, Environment & Quality
Knowledge of waste and clean water network activities
Knowledge of Construction and Capital Works
NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent
Full Driving Licence
