Teaching Personnel are excited to present an opportunity to work at one of our local schools in Poole!

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant available to work at an alternative provision in the Sherbourne area. The school provides support to young people aged 11-16 who are unable to access mainstream education. Students may have been excluded from mainstream school or have emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA). The school also offers support for students who have medical needs preventing them from accessing mainstream school.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will ideally

-      Have experience working in education or a related area (youth coaching, support/care work, early years care etc)

-      Be resilient, patient, and have a passion for education

-      Have experience working with challenging behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
