Linen Assistant

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Linen Assistant to work in our dynamic team at The Belfry,
England’s leading Hotel and Resort. We have 319 bedrooms, Rosette standard
dining, five food and beverage outlets, fantastic leisure facilities including
our 20 treatment rooms & pool and of course, what we are famous for…golf. We have a really exciting year ahead at The Belfry,
starting with hosting The British Masters in May 2022, and continuing with the
launch of new training and development opportunities and incentives.

We are a unique venue that has hosted the Ryder Cup four times, we have three courses and a mini golf course set over 550 acres of land. Our business aims to be the number one Hotel and Resort in the UK.
We are currently looking for Linen Assistant to work in our Housekeeping Department.

About the role

This role is ideal for anyone with a background of working in a highly physical environment, e.g. Hospital Porter, Warehouse Operative, Manual Labourer, or a Stores Person / Stockroom Assistant. Duties of the job Include but are not limited to…

Maintaining quality standards of linen
Ensuring all used linen has been collected
Ensuring all departments have the requested linen on a daily basis.
To check that the corridors and service rooms are clean and tidy,
Keep corridors free from linen, linen bags and linen skips.
Ensure fantastic customer service when in contact with guests around the resort
Ensure the equipment rooms are at the standard set out by the House keeping management team.
Refill room condiments / room trollies at the end of the day
Record linen in / out of the rooms allocated
Be able to manage your time effectively.
Keep on top of the upkeep of the public areas throughout the Resort.
To keep on top of any administration relevant to the position and handed to the team leader on duty.
To attend all housekeeping team meetings.
You will be required to work weekends
