Teaching Assistant in Tamworth - Connex Education

Connex Education are working Primary schools within Tamworth. We are seeking Teaching Assistants who are looking for both daily flexible work as well as long term roles for immediate and September start dates. 

The Role of a Teaching Assistant –


To develop the children’s concentration and listening skills in order to promote independent learning.
To support the pupils in completing tasks, targeted work and developing self-regulation.
To support the pupils with self-organisation
To support the pupils with a differentiated curriculum
To complete targets as identified in the Education Health Care Plans


Candidates should:


Recent and relevant classroom experience in EYFS, KS1 & KS2
Work closely with the Class Teacher and SENDco following EHCP targets
Have previous experience working with children
Have competent skills in both literacy, numeracy and IT skills
A willingness to undertake additional training and CPD
Be highly committed, enthusiastic, positive, patient and show good initiative


Pay rate


£65 - £70 per day, depending on experience and type of working role.
