Your role will be to assist the Team Leader to ensure the accurate and timely billing of Council Tax.
You will work closely with the team, manage the daily workloads, monitor the team’s performance and provide any training required to ensure the Council Tax system is being properly maintained.
You will answer customer enquiries, customer complaints and liaise with other Council Departments and outside agencies, including the Council are appointed Sheriff Officers.
You should have a minimum of 3 Standard Grades (1 to be English) or equivalent. A high standard of customer care skills are required. Organisational, keyboard and communication skills are essential.
Previous experience in Council Tax administration is also essential.
