Are you experienced in contract negotiation? Do you have first class communication skills and enjoy liaising with suppliers?
A business in Rugby is on the lookout for a Buyer to join their Procurement Team. The business is performing well year on year and has a track record of internal development. This role will involve a hybrid working from home/office system.
Day to day you will be responsible for maintaining and improving supplier and product quality, identifying cost efficiency opportunities and striving for continuous improvement.
Exceptional communication/relationship building skills will be pivotal for this role as there will be a significant focus on supplier onboarding, negotiating prices and supplier contract management. You will be managing the tendering process and ensuring that supplier performance and adherence is targeted and measured.
You will be working collaboratively with other internal teams, so the ability to work well independently but also as part of a team will be vital. Ideally you will have experience using SAP and be CIPS qualified, but this is not essential.
