I am currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to work with a Higher Education client based in Edinburgh for a 6 month FTC on a full time basis (Mon-Fri).
The main responsibilities are as follows:
Financial support covering a range of transactions and processes, for example, processing purchase orders, creating sales invoices, and working with internal payments.Liaise with stakeholders to investigate financial discrepancies and reach resolution in a timely manner.
General administration, for example, dealing with general enquiries from other members of the University; and other admin tasks, such as, maintaining mailing lists, updating website&SharePoint Hub content, and registering visitors.
Contribute to and support the Business Administration Team (BAT) and services, for example, providing cover for other members of the BAT and Reception, as required.
Diary management support, for example, arranging / rescheduling meetings; booking venues, travel, and catering.
Event management support, for example, helping to organise internal events.
Previous recent Administration experience is essential for the role.
