About the Role
As a Broker some of your key responsibilities will involve:
Define marketing strategy (specific to placement)
Review Submission
Lead quote broking / Follow market broking
Present terms to client / network
Firm Order broking (Ebix / wet stamps / email)
Record broking activity in market sheets
Review draft / final MRC
Send Cover confirmation to client/network
Provide benchmarking and placement advice to clients
Client meetings
Respond to A/C queries
Establish and manage pipeline
Opportunities to travel to see our US network colleagues and clients can be expected.
Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
About you
As a Broker your skills and qualifications will include:
2+ years Lloyds broking experience (preferably in the US Casualty, but International / UK market experience considered)
Liabilities experience an advantage
Effective communication and presentation skills;
Sound understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes;
Good technical insurance knowledge experience from within the London Market;
Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service;
Experience of managing effective client relationships;
Good problem-solving skills;
Good interpersonal skills;
Ability to interpret and use data effectively;
Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation;
