Bookkeeper in Manchester - Levitate Recruitment

Levitate Recruitment are currently recruiting for a bookkeeper for a regional accountancy practice in Manchester.

Role:

Provide bookkeeping services to the firms’ clients.
Maintain Accounts Receivable and Accounts payable ledgers
Completion of Bank Reconciliation
Posting Wages journals
Completing VAT returns
Preparation of working papers to include fixed asset register, prepayments, accruals, wages control account, VAT reconciliation
Ensure regular liaison with multiple clients and be able to work at client premises

Requirements:

AAT qualified or thorough experience
Experience of providing bookkeeping services to a range of clients
Experienced in Sales Ledger/Purchase Ledger/Nominal Ledger
Able to take accounts to trial balance stage
Processing and submitting VAT returns
Ideally bookkeeping experience within an accountancy practice
