Motor Loss Recovery Handler


Are you an experienced loss recovery handler? Do you have a passion for recovering Customers money back following a non-fault accident?
We have fantastic opportunities available to join our team in Huddersfield as a Motor Loss Recovery Handler!
FMG is the UK's leading independent provider of fleet incident management and specialist vehicle recovery services. Due to continued growth, we are now seeking to expand our Insurance Services teams with ambitious individuals who have the desire and positive attitude to help manage customers' incidents, ensuring first-class customer service.
Job Role:
As a Motor Loss Recovery Handler you will assist our customers who have been involved in non-fault accidents, recovering any losses on their behalf and pursuing the responsible Third Party / Insurer for costs incurred as a result of the accident. You will effectively manage claims, ensuring that speed and quality of loss recovery is maximised, whilst maintaining FMG’s pro-active approach to claims handling. The role will involve investigating liability, gathering information through different sources, utilising intelligence tools and settling claims in the best interests of our clients.
About you:
We are looking for people who have excellent written and verbal communication skills, alongside a drive to settle claims as effectively as possible. You will need to be self-motivated and organised to enable you to manage your own workloads and achieve team targets. You will possess a strong work ethic and work well within a team. You will be confident using a computer as this role requires you to work on multiple internal and external systems.
