£11 per hour (£20,020 per annum)

The Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper to take responsibility for keeping our accounts and reconciliations up to date whilst also being involved in daily admin duties where necessary.

You will need to have previous bookkeeping experience, ideally be familiar with Sage or similar systems, and will need to be organised, confident and willing to listen and learn. You will be working Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

Role Responsibilities – Bookkeeper:

Transaction entry and management
Supplier account reconciliations
Customer account reconciliations and debt chasing
Monthly stock reconciliation
Raising delivery notes and sales invoices

Examples of admin duties can include:

Answering phones
General office administration and filing
Obtaining supplier quotes
Quoting and ordering stock
Creating manuals and labels
Arranging transport for goods out

Person Specification – Bookkeeper:

Experience of working with finance
Experience of working in an office environment and carrying out administrative tasks
An understanding of double entry bookkeeping
Strong numeracy skills
Experience in Sage VAT submission an advantage
Competent IT user with experience in Excel/Word and Sage
Ability to independently and as part of a small team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
