Trade Planning Manager | Hertfordshire / Greater London | £40,000-£45,000 | Flex Working
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading DIY retailer as a Trade Planning Manager joining a brilliant commercial team to develop a 12-month rolling Trading calendar. The aim is to drive the category buying teams to develop a strong set of multi-channel promotions and events to create growth in market share and maximise sales.

Understand, review and report on the performance of all promotions across all channels, identifying risks and opportunities to the category sales plan
Engage and challenge cross functionally to ensure that the trading plan stays on track and enables all channels to deliver for customers
A deep understanding of how customers shop the category instore/ online throughout the calendar year, taking this information and creating trading opportunities for customers
Competitor activity analysis
Managing CPA's and deadlines to Category teams to ensure risks are identified
Proactive problem resolution ensuring the right people come together, cross functionally, to find solutions
To be able to engage and influence stakeholders at every level and be active in the various cross functional Trading Meetings What are we looking for:
Build and maintain strong working relationships across all functions
A high level of analytical skill and practical application
A successful track record in Commercial, Operations or Marketing
Knowledge and understanding of multi-channel operations
Strong communication and presentation skills
Project management experience would be desirable
