This is an excellent opportunity for a Diploma-qualified paraplanner who enjoys working on complex financial planning cases and is keen to continue their journey towards Chartered status.

The firm offers genuine autonomy, exposure to high-net-worth clients and whole-of-market research, with clear progression into either Senior Paraplanning or Financial Planning depending on your long-term career ambitions.

The Opportunity

Working closely with experienced advisers, you'll be involved in every stage of the advice process, providing technical support and helping deliver bespoke financial planning solutions to clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting technical research across pensions, investments and protection products
  • Preparing suitability reports and recommendation reports
  • Cashflow modelling and financial planning analysis
  • Preparing documentation for client review meetings
  • Supporting advisers with complex case work
  • Whole-of-market research and provider analysis
  • Contributing to technical projects and process improvements
  • Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
  • Building strong relationships with advisers and key stakeholders

About You

To be considered, you'll need:

Previous experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA, Financial Planning or Wealth Management firm

Level 4 Diploma qualified (or very close to completion)

Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and protection planning

Experience writing suitability reports and conducting financial planning research

Exposure to cashflow modelling tools such as Voyant, CashCalc or similar

Ambition to progress towards Chartered status

Why Apply?

  • Join a highly regarded Chartered financial planning business
  • Clear route into Senior Paraplanning or Financial Adviser positions
  • Complex, interesting client work
  • Whole-of-market advice environment
  • Full study support towards Chartered status
  • Opportunity to mentor and develop junior team members
  • Hybrid working and excellent long-term career prospects

This role would suit an ambitious Paraplanner, Senior Paraplanner, or a highly technical Financial Planning Administrator looking to take the next step in their career.
