Temporary Administrator

Colchester | Hybrid | £14.27 per hour

36 hours per week | 8.45am – 5.00pm

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Administrator to join a busy and supportive team based in Colchester.

This is a varied administrative role, providing day-to-day support to lecturers and helping to ensure the smooth running of their schedules and general administration.

The Role

As a Temporary Administrator, you will be responsible for a range of general administrative duties, including:

• Providing day-to-day administrative support to lecturers
• Managing diaries and coordinating appointments
• Arranging meetings and sending invitations
• Managing and monitoring inboxes, responding to queries where appropriate
• Maintaining accurate electronic and paper filing systems
• Updating records and databases
• Preparing documents and general correspondence
• Supporting with meeting arrangements and follow-up actions
• Providing general administrative assistance to the wider team as required

About You

We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and confident in an administrative environment. You will need to have good attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to manage your workload effectively.

Previous experience in an administration, coordination or support role would be beneficial.
