Senior Accounts Technician – Huntingdon
Clark Wood are recruiting for a Senior Accounts Technician to join an independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Huntingdon.
The role would suit an AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified or experienced practice accountant looking to progress their career.
You’ll manage a varied portfolio of SMEs, limited companies, partnerships and sole traders, covering accounts, VAT, bookkeeping and client support.
The Role

• Preparing year-end accounts
• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
• Bookkeeping and cloud accounting
• Dealing with client queries
• Reviewing junior team members' work
• Assisting with management accounts and forecasting
• Supporting Managers and Partners with client work
• Managing your own portfolio and deadlines

About You

• AAT Level 4, ACA/ACCA part-qualified or QBE
• Previous UK accountancy practice experience
• Strong accounts, VAT and bookkeeping knowledge
• Experience with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
• Good client communication skills
• Organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
