THE ROLE

As an Enterprise Software Engineer, you will build impactful enterprise software used across a leading investment environment, working with modern technologies, complex challenges, and clear opportunities for career growth.

Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise software applications that support key business functions.
• Develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions using modern engineering practices.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Own projects throughout the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and support.
• Work with engineers across multiple teams to solve complex technical challenges.
• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of software architecture, performance, and reliability.
• Help drive innovation by identifying opportunities to improve systems and development processes

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful Enterprise Software Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

• Strong commercial experience developing production-grade software using Python.
• Experience with an object-oriented programming language such as Java or C#.
• Experience designing and delivering scalable enterprise applications.
• Good understanding of SQL databases and data management principles.
• Knowledge of financial markets or experience working with financial products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in a regulated or financial services environment is advantageous.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools or practices would be beneficial.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
