ASAP Start | £150-£220 per day | Full-Time | Temporary

Are you an enthusiastic primary teacher available for an immediate start? A welcoming and supportive primary school in Reading is looking for a passionate Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Year 1 Teacher who enjoys working with younger pupils and wants to make a positive impact while gaining further experience in a supportive school environment.

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
• Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
• Encourage confidence, independence and a love of learning.
• Work closely with colleagues and parents to support pupil outcomes.

The ideal Year 1 Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A creative, enthusiastic and adaptable approach.
• High expectations for learning and behaviour.
• A genuine passion for helping young children succeed.
