Job Description

Monday to Friday

9am-5pm or 8am-4pm (flexibility to suit the candidate)

Wonderful opportunity for a top housekeeper / ex stewardess to join a lovely family at their large, spacious property near Henley-on-Thames. The property is used part-time, mainly during holidays and occasional weekends, with the family typically in residence from Friday afternoon to Sunday. During the week, you'll prepare the house for their arrival, then turndown once they leave.

You will be the main housekeeper, working alongside a longstanding, close-knit team.

The property includes a swimming pool, study and gym, and is beautifully presented throughout, so an excellent eye for detail and genuine care for the home is essential.

Duties include daily cleaning, laundry and ironing, running errands, and keeping the house well maintained. You will need good knowledge of caring for delicate materials and finishes.

We are looking for someone with high standards, energy and a genuine passion for their work — capable, hardworking and discreet. This is a wonderful long-term opportunity with a family seeking longevity — staff have stayed with them for many years.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar private household setting, chalet or yacht experience

• Excellent attention to detail and knowledge of the care of delicate materials

• Discreet and trustworthy

• Capable of working independently as well as part of a small team

• Energetic, hardworking, and happy to bring a proactive approach

This is a live out role.
