Location: Canary Wharf (3 days onsite expected)
Contract Duration: 6 months initially - opportunity for up to 2 years!
Daily Rate: £450 Umbrella

Shape the Future of Data Engineering

We are looking for a talented Data Engineer (AVP) to join our development team in London. This role will help drive our migration from a legacy Oracle environment to a modern cloud-based data platform powered by Databricks.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop and enhance Data Marts using Databricks, SQL and Python.
• Build scalable,reliable and high-performing data pipelines.
• Support Oracle-to-cloud migration initiatives.
• Collaborate with architects, DBAs and business stakeholders.
• Drive automation, monitoring and operational excellence.

What We're Looking For

• Strong Databricks and cloud data platform experience
• Expertise in SQL and working knowledge of Python.
• Knowledge of data modelling and ETL/ELT best practices.
• Experience migrating Oracle or legacy platforms.
• Understanding of CI/CD, Git and orchestration tools.
