Job Description

Lead Architect x2

£115,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

London

We're currently recruiting for two senior Lead Architect positions within a major managed services environment. These are genuine architecture leadership roles, sitting as part of the account leadership team and responsible for the overall technical direction, governance and architectural integrity of large, complex technology estates.

This is an opportunity for an experienced architect who has moved beyond a single technology domain (cloud, infrastructure, network, security etc.) and can operate as a trusted advisor to customers, influence senior stakeholders and provide leadership across a broad technology landscape.

The Role

As Lead Architect, you will be responsible for the end-to-end architecture across a large managed services account, ensuring technical solutions align with business objectives, contractual commitments and long-term technology strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning and governing the overall architecture of a complex managed services environment.
  • Providing technical leadership across multiple technology towers and architecture disciplines.
  • Defining technology roadmaps and future-state architecture strategies.
  • Leading architecture governance and ensuring technical integrity across the estate.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders.
  • Working closely with delivery, engineering and service leadership teams.
  • Supporting architectural decision-making within commercial and contractual frameworks.
  • Mentoring and guiding architects and technical teams across the account.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience operating as a Lead Architect within a Managed Services environment.
  • Experience governing large and complex technology estates.
  • Strong architecture governance and Design Authority experience.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and customer engagement skills.
  • Proven technical leadership and team leadership experience.
  • Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of managed service delivery models.
  • The ability to translate technical strategy into practical business outcomes.
