  • Managing appraisals and individual development plans
  • Supporting the training and development of team members
  • Identifying performance issues and addressing them constructively
  • Ensuring client servicing work is completed accurately and efficiently
  • Resolving or escalating complex operational issues
  • Working closely with Financial Planners, Paraplanners and senior stakeholders
  • Improving systems, processes and ways of working

  • Strong workflow and capacity-management skills
  • The ability to develop and motivate colleagues
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • The confidence to make decisions and take ownership
  • Experience improving processes or team performance
  • A collaborative, supportive and accountable management style

Knowledge of Intelliflo or a comparable financial planning system would be advantageous.

The business

The firm is an established Chartered financial planning business with more than £2 billion in assets under advice, 51 Financial Planners and approximately 110 employees.

It has a young, collaborative culture and a strong record of developing and promoting its people internally.

Package and working arrangements

  • £55,000–£65,000 salary
  • Discretionary bonus of up to 12%
