Indirect Tax Manager in London - Communicate Recruitment Solutions LTD

You'll work at the heart of a diverse, global business, partnering with finance and international tax teams, training and upskilling colleagues worldwide, and acting as the go-to expert on indirect tax. Responsibilities:

• Manage global VAT/GST compliance, including reviewing of returns, payments and audits
• Liaise with HMRC and other tax authorities on VAT queries
• Train local teams to better spot indirect tax issues
• Improve systems and processes for tax reporting across 30+ territories
• Advise on VAT/GST implications of contracts and business deals
• Lead VAT/GST setup in new markets and manage major tax changes

Requirements

• Relevant accounting or tax qualification – e.g. ACA/CTA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
• Strong background in international VAT/GST compliance, ideally with UK and SAP experience
• Able to explain tax issues clearly to non-tax colleagues and influence stakeholders
• Experience managing external tax advisors
