Accounts Assistant

6-Month Temporary Contract | Bicester (Hybrid) | Up to £35,000

Robert Half Ltd are working with a business in Bicester that are looking for a an Accounts Assistant to join the team on a temporary basis. This is a broad role ranging across transactional accounting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cashbook, sales and purchase ledger activities.
  • Complete bank and month-end reconciliations.
  • Support credit control and customer statements.
  • Process supplier invoices, credit notes, expenses and payment runs.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
  • Handle confidential financial information appropriately.
  • Support the wider finance team with day-to-day tasks.


What They're Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Experience with reconciliations, credit control and payment processing.
  • Confident using accounting systems and commercial software.
  • Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is desirable.
  • Experience implementing a new accounting system would be advantageous.
