Location - Home based - Covering local 1 hour patch or Singel Location

We're recruiting HGV & PSV Lecturers and Assessors for contract assignments with leading education and training providers across the UK.

You'll support apprentices and learners working towards their qualifications by delivering high-quality teaching, carrying out workplace assessments, providing coaching and mentoring, and helping learners achieve their full potential.

Whether you're an experienced lecturer or assessor, or you're looking to transition into education from industry, we have opportunities available nationwide.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging teaching and practical training in HGV and/or PSV maintenance, repair and diagnostics
• Assess and support apprentices working towards NVQ and apprenticeship standards
• Coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to learners
• Manage your own diary and travel within your local area where required (for Assessor roles)
• Work with respected colleges, universities, and independent training providers
• £40 - £50 per hour depending on location

The Person:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, PSV Maintenance & Repair, or a related automotive qualification
• Current or previous industry experience working on HGVs, PSVs, buses, coaches, or commercial vehicles
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training) and/or TAQA, A1/D32/D33 Assessor qualification preferred, although not essential for some contracts
• Experience delivering training, lecturing, or assessing apprentices is advantageous
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally where required
• Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
