Finance Manager - TV Production (12 months FTC)

One of the foremost independent production companies in the UK of high-end drama for leading broadcasters and networks are looking for a qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA Finance Manager to join their Soho based team.

Role requirements:

  • Development Reporting Group Cashflow
  • Tax Losses Statement with Auditors
  • Royalty reporting to Talent
  • Reviews Financial Statements
  • Company secretarial for group
  • Full control and management accounts & forecasting to yearly audit.
  • Commercial advice to Studio Manager.
  • Set Up Companies
  • Set Up Bank accounts
  • BFI/Cultural Test
  • Closes Companies
  • Manages Audits and Year End Dates
  • Commercial advice to MD.
  • Any other ad hoc reporting as required.

The Person

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with experience of month-end management accounts preparation, financial reporting.
  • Must have experience in a TV Production or related Entertainment industry.
  • Systems - SMART, SAP, Xero, Advance Excel skills.
  • Good communication skills, as working across all levels of stakeholder
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility with production teams and take a bigger picture view whilst still keeping a tight reign on the financials.
  • You can manage a multi company consolidation and produce management accounts
