Job Description

Due to continued expansion our client, a well-established and reputable travel company is actively seeking an experienced, self-driven and dedicated Travel, Tours & Reservation Consultant to complement their supportive, energetic and mission-driven team.


Reporting directly to the Sales & Operations Manager, key responsibilities will include:


  • Responsible for the day-to-day planning of all elements of a tour including itinerary planning, customer invoicing, ticketing, and final documentation
  • Use effective communication skills to build rapport with clients and exceed their expectations
  • Ensure accurate, customer friendly documentation is sent to clients and suppliers in a timely manner
  • Actively seek out customer feedback and make use of this to constantly improve our services and our customers’ ever-changing needs
  • Understand the needs of customers and work to simplify the tour booking process wherever possible
  • Maintain a good, up to date knowledge of key visits and optional extras for each destination to add value and margin wherever possible
  • Build long term relationships and maximise the retention of clients through excellent customer service and product delivery
  • Minimise the impact of issues and implement improvements to ensure they are avoided wherever possible
  • Work closely with the Product & Marketing Team to research, identify/add new visits and/or products to our portfolio and generate ideas for marketing and promotional activity
  • Ensure the timely collection of due payments to maximise cash flow


As a successful candidate you will have excellent customer service/sales experience and a background within the Travel industry or a genuine passion for travel, a natural communicator with a drive to succeed bringing energy, integrity and confidence to your work.

Excellent presentation skills and confidence speaking to varied audiences, a results-orientated mindset and strong communication skills across phone, written proposals and live presentations are also essential with the ability to adapt your style to suit your target audience. A full UK driving license is essential.
