BD & Marketing Manager - Project Development & Finance - Global Law Firm in London - Norfolk Capsey

We’re working with a leading global law firm on an exciting opportunity for a Business Development & Marketing Manager to join its global BD team, supporting the Project Development & Finance practice.

This is a hands-on and proactive role, working closely with partners, lawyers and wider business teams to deliver strategic BD initiatives, identify market opportunities and support revenue generation.

The Role

• Support the implementation of BD and marketing plans aligned with wider firm strategy.
• Work with partners and stakeholders to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Provide tailored input into pitches, capability statements and client development initiatives.
• Monitor market trends, clients, prospects and competitors to identify opportunities.
• Support client events, marketing communications, thought leadership and awards/directory submissions.
• Develop strong relationships with partners and key stakeholders across the business.
• Contribute to strategically important BD projects and wider team initiatives.

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• Professional services BD experience, ideally within a law firm.
• Strong interest in Energy
• Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of the legal market.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with partners.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive, collaborative approach with strong attention to detail.
