Senior Product Analyst (Contract)

This is an opportunity to join a well-established digital business on a high-impact contract, providing additional analytical expertise to a busy product function. You'll work closely with Product and Engineering teams, owning analytical projects from start to finish and helping shape product decisions through clear, data-driven recommendations.

The Company

They are a consumer-focused digital organisation that operates at scale, using data to drive product innovation and customer experience. Their product teams work in a fast-paced environment, making evidence-based decisions through experimentation, performance analysis, and continuous improvement. Due to increased demand on the permanent team, they are looking for an experienced Senior Product Analyst to provide immediate support and additional analytical capacity.

The Role and Deliverables

• Own and deliver end-to-end analysis across product initiatives, investigations, and experiments.
• Query, validate, interpret, and analyse large and complex datasets to support business decision-making.
• Support experimentation programmes, including A/B testing, results interpretation, and actionable recommendations.
• Define, validate, and monitor key product metrics, ensuring analytical and statistical rigour throughout.
• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to clarify business questions and translate insights into decisions.
• Produce clear stakeholder summaries, maintain well-structured analytical code, and contribute to reusable analytical frameworks where appropriate.

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write clear, maintainable queries.
• Strong Python skills for analytical workflows and data investigation.
• Solid understanding of experimentation methodologies, A/B testing, and statistics.
• Experience working within fast-moving product environments.
• Ability to work effectively with messy, incomplete, or imperfect datasets.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to operate independently and deliver high-quality analysis in a contract setting.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
