Job Description
- Lead and develop a team of capital analysts, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Take ownership of the ongoing use and governance of the internal capital model.
- Support model development initiatives, enhancements and validation activities.
- Lead parameterisation exercises, ensuring assumptions remain appropriate and well documented.
- Deliver capital reporting for internal and regulatory stakeholders.
- Support business planning, reinsurance optimisation and strategic decision making through capital analysis.
- Work closely with Risk, Actuarial and Finance teams to ensure consistency and alignment across capital processes.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and committees.
Requirements - Qualified Actuary (or equivalent experience).
- Strong capital modelling experience within the insurance market.
- Experience of internal model use, parameterisation and model development.
- Strong understanding of Solvency II / regulatory capital frameworks.
- Previous management or mentoring experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
