About our client

Our client is a leading global, credit-focused alternative investment manager with a diversified platform spanning privately negotiated senior and junior debt, liquid credit, asset-based finance, and real estate. Backed by the scale of a major global asset manager, the firm combines deep origination capabilities with significant capital flexibility, enabling it to invest in businesses of all sizes through both standard and highly customised solutions. The culture is defined by intellectual rigour, discipline and a genuine passion for investing, underpinned by a strong commitment to performance, and collaboration. What the job involves

The asset value team focuses on asset-backed private credit investments, including the acquisition of SME leasing platforms and private credit solutions for businesses navigating dislocation in the broader capital markets. The successful candidate will be involved across the full deal lifecycle, from initial screening through to due diligence, investment committee presentation, and ongoing asset management of the portfolio.

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models, supporting business due diligence and valuation analysis on new investment opportunities
  • Partner closely with portfolio company management teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and business plans
  • Identify opportunities to enhance returns, including refinancing and operational restructuring initiatives
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis in response to investor queries
  • Support the wider investment team in deal underwriting and transaction execution
Who we are looking for
  • Several years of relevant experience in leveraged finance, restructuring, special situations, or current credit investing
  • Strong transaction experience gained at a top-tier investment bank or leading credit-focused investment platform
  • Excellent financial modelling and spreadsheet skills, with strong overall quantitative ability
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and genuine passion for investing
