Job Description

Procurement Manager

Permanent | £65,000

Location: Kensington, London

Hybrid Working: Minimum 3 Days per Week in the Office

We’re partnering with a leading international media organisation to appoint an experienced Procurement Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of indirect categories, including Marketing, Sales, Travel, Human Resources, Facilities Management and Financial Services.

Operating within a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment, you’ll manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering measurable savings, improving supplier performance and creating long-term commercial value.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you’ll lead end-to-end procurement activity across several business-critical categories.

Combining strategic category management with hands-on delivery, you’ll develop sourcing strategies, negotiate complex contracts and work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure procurement decisions support wider business objectives.

This role would suit a commercially minded procurement professional who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes and identifying new ways to create value across a business.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll play a key role in supporting the organisation’s commercial performance by:

  • Developing and implementing robust category strategies aligned with wider business goals.
  • Leading end-to-end sourcing projects and commercial and contractual negotiations.
  • Managing contracts proactively throughout the full contract lifecycle.
  • Identifying savings opportunities, developing compelling business cases and presenting recommendations to senior decision-makers.
  • Building collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Managing key supplier relationships to maintain service quality, control costs, mitigate risk and protect continuity of supply.
  • Streamlining Procurement and Legal governance processes, including supplier onboarding and contract risk management.
  • Delivering continuous improvement initiatives and encouraging supplier-led innovation across your portfolio.
  • Managing multiple operational and strategic projects in a fast-paced environment.

About You

You’ll be an experienced procurement professional with a strong background in end-to-end indirect category management and a proven record of delivering measurable commercial value.

You will also have:

  • Experience managing complex sourcing projects and high-value contracts.
  • A strong track record of achieving significant cost savings and service improvements.
  • Excellent commercial negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational delivery.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach and the confidence to take ownership of multiple priorities.
  • A keen eye for process improvement across Procurement and wider business operations.
  • Experience using procurement and reporting platforms such as Coupa, Ironclad and Power BI, or comparable systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • A CIPS qualification and previous experience within the media or advertising sector would be advantageous, although neither is essential.

Why Apply?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prominent, fast-moving organisation and take ownership of a varied and commercially significant procurement portfolio.

In return, you’ll benefit from:

  • A salary of £65,000.
  • A high-impact role with exposure to senior stakeholders.
  • Ownership of several varied and business-critical indirect categories.
  • The opportunity to deliver measurable savings and influence procurement strategy.
  • A hybrid working model, with a minimum of three days per week in the Kensington office.
  • A collaborative environment where continuous improvement and innovation are encouraged.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
