Job Description

Our People and Culture team is dedicated to building organisational and people capabilities across Macquarie, shaping a workplace where colleagues thrive and grow. Partnering with leaders across our Central Services Groups you will be helping to shape the future of our business through effective talent management, organisational design, and continuous improvement.

This is a 6-month temporary opportunity.

We are a global financial services group operating in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability. At Macquarie, you're empowered to shape a career that is fulfilling and creates value. You will bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will partner with business leaders across the EMEA region to deliver strategic workforce planning and organisational design solutions. Anticipating talent needs, supporting succession planning, and building a high-performing workforce aligned to strategic objectives will be key priorities. You will drive talent acquisition, development, and retention initiatives while championing diversity and inclusion across the region. Using data and insights to inform decision-making, you will help leaders enhance employee engagement, strengthen organisational effectiveness, and improve business performance.

Your role as a trusted advisor will allow you to coach senior leaders on complex people matters, lead regional people initiatives, and create opportunities for learning, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across Central Services in EMEA.

What you offer

  • Experienced People and Culture Business Partner or equivalent role within financial services.
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and best practice.
  • Expertise in organisational design practices and strategic workforce planning.
  • Ability to analyse data, communicate insights and influence decision-making in complex environments.
  • Experience in coaching and advising leaders on complex people matters.
  • Strong risk mindset and planning skills.
  • Ability to make sense of complex and sometimes contradictory information to solve problems.
We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
