This impressive, global law firm are looking for a Partnership Tax Manager to join a high-performing finance and tax function. Working closely with the Head of Partnership Tax and Senior Tax Manager, you will play a key role in delivering partnership tax compliance, reporting, and advisory services.

This position is ideal for a qualified tax professional with strong partnership tax expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and experience operating within a professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities

As Partnership Tax Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the preparation of partnership tax computations and including basis period reform requirements.
  • Supporting year-end tax provisioning and the preparation of partners' capital accounts.
  • Overseeing day-to-day partnership tax compliance activities, including tax payments and correspondence with HMRC.
  • Preparing reconciliations and journals and supporting the annual audit process.
  • Assisting with international tax compliance matters, including overseas branch and partnership reporting requirements.
  • Supporting Pillar Two, Country-by-Country (CbC) reporting and transfer pricing obligations.
  • Contributing to a variety of partnership and tax-related projects.
  • Assisting in the delivery of high-quality tax compliance and advisory services to partners and senior stakeholders.
  • Supporting the wider tax team during peak compliance periods.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with external advisers and HMRC.
  • Driving process improvements, automation initiatives, and the adoption of tax technology solutions.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • At least 4-5 years' post-qualified experience in a professional services or partnership-focused tax environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of partnership taxation and related compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage senior individuals.
  • Strong accounting and reconciliation experience, including journal preparation and financial reporting support.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, data validation and reporting tools.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • The ability to balance hands-on delivery with effective delegation and oversight where appropriate.
