Description

• Prepare accounts and tax returns. Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.
• Proficient in online bookkeeping packages, Excel, and Word. Experience with CCH preferred.
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication.
• Manage tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Oversee junior staff, review their work, and provide mentorship.
• Work proactively with managers and partners to build and maintain client relationships.
• Understand the business landscape and client needs.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Begin to build a small portfolio of clients.

Profile

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

• A recognised accounting qualification such as ACCA or ACA.
• Accounts preparation experience gained in a UK accountancy firm.
• Proficiency in accounts preparation software (CCH, Iris, CaseWear etc).
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Job Offer

• A salary of £50,000 to £55,000, dependent on the level of experience.
