Job Description

We're working with a growing theatre and entertainment company on an exciting interim opportunity for a PQ or newly qualified accountant to join their productions finance team.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce and issue daily sales reports for theatrical productions across the UK and internationally, providing key insight to senior management
  • Respond to ad-hoc queries and develop bespoke sales reports for new productions
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes through automation and technology, reducing manual intervention
  • Develop and maintain a sales database to identify trends and support more accurate production forecasting and budgeting
  • Work closely with the wider finance and production teams to ensure sales data is accurate, timely and commercially useful
Requirements:
  • Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of data
  • Experience producing financial or management reports
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to identify trends and communicate insights clearly
  • An interest in process improvement, automation and using technology to improve reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately to tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
  • Experience within theatre, entertainment, media or another fast-paced creative environment would be advantageous
