  • Our client is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team.

Our client operates within the Film & Television sector and manages a diverse portfolio of productions. They offer a collaborative environment where finance plays a key role in supporting business success and project delivery.

The Role Working closely with the Group Financial Controller, you will support the smooth running of the finance function, maintaining accurate records, assisting with reporting requirements, and ensuring financial controls are adhered to across multiple entities.

Main Duties
  • Manage purchase and sales ledgers, employee expenses, and supplier payments.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and cash flow analysis.
  • Support VAT returns, month-end journals, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Investigate accounting discrepancies and provide finance support across production companies.
The Successful Candidate
  • AAT qualified or qualified by experience with at least 5 years in an accounting role.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills; Dynamics 365 experience would be advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Film & TV industry experience beneficial but not essential.
