Description
- Lead the development of policy positions and coordinate responses to consultations from government, regulators and industry bodies.
- Monitor legislative, regulatory and political developments, providing insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Draft high-quality briefing papers, reports, consultation responses and strategic communications.
- Work collaboratively across multiple teams to ensure policy positions are evidence-based, practical and aligned with organisational priorities.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, sector bodies and regulatory partners.
Profile
- Experience in policy, public affairs, government affairs, regulation or stakeholder engagement within a regulated environment.
- Strong policy analysis and drafting skills, with experience producing high-quality reports, briefings or consultation responses.
- Ability to interpret complex legislation, regulation or policy and translate it into practical recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing and working across multiple teams.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
Job Offer
- Salary between £42,632 and £47,369, dependent on the level of experience.
- Permanent position in London.
