Full-Time Housekeepers (x2) - UHNW Private Household

Leaman Consulting is delighted to be recruiting two experienced Full-Time Housekeepers for a beautiful UHNW private residence in Central London. One of these positions can be offered on a live-in basis for the right candidate, should this be preferred.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a warm, respectful and long-standing household team supporting a lovely family in a stunning contemporary home. The successful candidates will be joining an established team including rota nannies, Head Housekeeper, Chef, Driver, Security and House Management, where teamwork, discretion and exceptionally high standards are paramount.

The Residence
The property is a very large five-storey townhouse residence. The interiors are minimalist and contemporary, with marble, matt timber flooring and high value artwork throughout. The home is maintained to immaculate standards and requires an individual with a naturally meticulous eye for detail.
This is a household where everything has its designated place - right down to the exact positioning of items. The principals have incredibly high standards and appreciate a Housekeeper who notices the smallest details without needing direction.

The Family
The household consists of the main principal and their three children. They also have one very friendly Cocker Spaniel who is very much part of the family.

The Role
Working collaboratively with the housekeeping team, duties will include:

• Full housekeeping to an exceptional standard throughout the residence
• Daily cleaning and presentation of all bathrooms
• Care and maintenance of specialist surfaces including marble, matt timber flooring and luxury finishes
• Cleaning and care of valuable artwork and high-end furnishings
• Laundry, ironing and wardrobe care
• Maintaining immaculate day-to-day presentation of the property, with responsibility for designated floors
• Ensuring all items are returned to their exact place, maintaining the principals' exceptionally high standards of organisation
• Feeding the family dog, administering medication when required and bathing the dog approximately once per week
• Very occasional assistance preparing simple meals for the children by finishing dishes pre-prepared by the Private Chef (for example, cooking pasta or reheating meals following instructions)
• Travelling with the family when required usually within Europe

The Ideal Candidate
The successful Housekeeper will be:

• Experienced within UHNW private households
• Exceptionally organised with an outstanding eye for detail
• Naturally meticulous and precise, taking pride in maintaining an impeccably presented home
• Confident caring for specialist materials including marble, timber flooring and fine finishes
• A non-smoker
• Discreet, professional and respectful of privacy at all times
• A calm, hands-on team player who enjoys working within an established household
• Able to adapt their approach around the principals, with a quiet, professional manner
• Flexible and happy to travel with the family when required - Ideally a UK or EU passport holder to facilitate travel

Accommodation (Live-In Option)
For the live-in position, private accommodation in the basement is provided comprising:

• Private bedroom
• Own bathroom with shower and WC

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: £50,000+ per annum, depending on experience
• Discretionary performance-based bonus
• 28 days' holiday inclusive of UK Bank Holidays
• Start date: ASAP

Working Hours
Two Housekeepers will work on alternating schedules to provide seamless household coverage.

• Schedule 1: Sunday - Thursday
• Schedule 2: Tuesday - Saturday

The role averages 50 hours per week, typically working 9:00am - 6:00pm, with one extended day each week until approximately 8:00pm. Each Housekeeper will receive two consecutive days off.
Flexibility is essential, as occasional adjustments to the working schedule may be required to accommodate the needs of the household or family travel.

Travel
The family travels during the summer and at other points throughout the year, and the Housekeepers may be required to accompany them on occasion. Typical trips range from two to four weeks. Candidates holding a UK or EU passport would be highly desirable.
