£22-£25 gross per hour | 15 hours a week / 3 mornings (to include Monday)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a capable and proactive part-time Housekeeper to join a warm and welcoming private household in Notting Hill (W10). This is a long-term role for a hands-on and experienced housekeeper who takes pride in keeping a home immaculate, running smoothly and with discretion.

The property is a beautifully presented 5-floor townhouse with 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, featuring a terrace and garden. The principals are a private, easy-going couple who value a clean, well-organised home. A switched-on housekeeper who can hit the ground running is essential.
The family has a friendly 2-year-old Labrador. A genuine love of dogs is important, although there is no feeding required. The Housekeeper may occasionally be asked to walk the dog and keep an eye on him if both principals are out of the house.

You will take full ownership of all housekeeping duties and general household management. This includes:

  Daily cleaning and deep housekeeping
• 
  Laundry and ironing to a high standard
• 
  Tidying and organisation
• 
  Managing dry cleaning (external service collects)
• 
  Liaising with gardeners, deliveries and tradespeople
• 
  Running errands and purchasing household/cleaning supplies
• 
  Occasional dog walking and keeping an eye on the Labrador when both clients are out

  Proven housekeeping experience in a similar private household
• 
  High standards and excellent attention to detail
• 
  Able to self-manage, take initiative and work autonomously
• 
  Genuine dog lover - experience with pets preferred
• 
  Discreet, reliable and good communication skills
• 
  Friendly but professional - happy to be around, yet understand boundaries

  Days: 3 mornings a week, one to be Monday
• 
  Hours: 5 hours a day / 15 per week
• 
  Schedule: Flexible - the clients are open to agreeing a schedule that works for both parties, for example 9.30am-1.30pm, 10am-3pm or 11am-4pm
