Senior Analyst / Associate, FIG in London - eFinancialCareers

Metis Search are currently partnered with a leading global investment bank looking to add a Senior Analyst or Associate to its FIG team in London.

This is an established platform with a strong reputation across the Financial Institutions sector, offering the opportunity to work alongside experienced senior bankers in a high-performing and collaborative environment.

The team benefits from strong deal flow and an extensive network of financial institution clients, providing exposure to a broad range of transactions across the FIG (and fintech) space. The role offers meaningful responsibility, direct senior exposure, and the opportunity to take ownership of high-profile transactions from an early stage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the execution of M&A transactions across the FIG sector.
2. Produce financial models and valuations.
3. Prepare client presentations and marketing materials.
4. Conduct industry and company analysis across financial institutions.
5. Work closely with clients and external advisers throughout transactions.

Key Requirements

1. Approximately 2-6 years’ experience in investment banking, ideally within FIG or fintech.
2. Strong technical foundation in financial modelling and valuation.
3. Demonstrated transaction experience.
4. Clear and confident communicator with strong presentation skills.
