Equities Client Onboarding Analyst

London | Full-time, onsite | initial 6 month contract

An opportunity has arisen for an Equities Client Onboarding Analyst to join a Global Banking & Markets team in London.

This role sits within a specialist Client Integration function responsible for supporting the onboarding and enablement of institutional clients trading across the Equities business. The team works closely with clients, front office, operations and technology teams to ensure new relationships and product access are established efficiently and successfully.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2–5 years of experience within Equities Operations who is looking to broaden their exposure to client onboarding, integration and the front-to-back trade lifecycle.

The Role

You will support the onboarding of new and existing institutional clients across a range of Equities products and markets.

Responsibilities will include:

  1. Coordinating the onboarding and configuration of institutional clients across the Equities business
  2. Working directly with clients to understand their post-trade requirements and operational preferences
  3. Liaising with front office, operations and technology teams to ensure client setups are completed accurately and efficiently
  4. Supporting the enablement of new products and markets for existing clients
  5. Monitoring early trading activity to identify and resolve any operational or processing issues
  6. Investigating problems and working with internal stakeholders to support efficient front-to-back processing
  7. Building a strong understanding of the Equities trade lifecycle and wider Global Markets operating environment
About You

The team is open to candidates from a range of Equities Operations backgrounds. Previous experience in the exact same role is not essential.

You should have:

  1. 2–5 years of experience within Equities Operations
  2. Experience gained within an investment bank, broker or similar institutional financial services environment
  3. A background in one or more of Equities Middle Office, Client Services, Client Onboarding or Trade Support
  4. Exposure to products such as Cash Equities, Equity Derivatives, Synthetics or Listed Options would be beneficial
  5. A good understanding of the Equities trade lifecycle
  6. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  7. A proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution
  8. The ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
