Job Description

MERJE are working with a well known asset management client in their search for a senior Compliance specialist on a 12 month FTC basis.

This is a broad, generalist role within a high-performing, fast-paced compliance team, offering exposure across advisory, monitoring, and regulatory change. You’ll play a key role in supporting the business across a wide range of compliance activities while contributing to ongoing projects and regulatory initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide day-to-day compliance advisory support to the business
  2. Carry out compliance monitoring and assist with the development and oversight of the compliance monitoring programme.
  3. Assist with regulatory developments tracking, summarising and implementation where required
  4. Assist with policy drafting and maintenance where required
  5. Produce training materials and train employees where required
  6. Participate in internal/external audits and client due diligence meetings as required

Candidate Profile

  1. 6-10 years of generalist compliance experience within an asset or investment management firm
  2. Knowledge around MiFID II, COLL, CASS, AML, SMCR, MAR
  3. Understanding of UCITS funds
  4. Experience with Bloomberg AIM and/or StarCompliance (desirable)
  5. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  6. Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across stakeholders
