FullStack Developer (Java/React)
Location: Canary Wharf
Contract Length: 3 months rolling


We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team and help deliver scalable, cloud-native applications supporting critical business services. You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining high-quality software across both front-end and back-end technologies while contributing to modern engineering practices, DevOps automation and cloud-based delivery.
Working within Agile teams, you'll collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, QA Engineers and fellow developers to build secure, resilient and high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java and React/React Native.
  • Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices that support enterprise-grade applications.
  • Develop responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks and best practices.
  • Design and optimise SQL database solutions ensuring performance, scalability and reliability.
  • Contribute to cloud-native application development using AWS services.
  • Participate in solution design, architecture discussions and technical planning.
  • Implement secure coding standards throughout the software development lifecycle.


Required Skills & Experience

  • Commercial experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.
  • Strong Java development experience.
  • Extensive experience with Spring Boot.
  • Strong React or React Native development experience.
  • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
  • Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture.
  • Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
