Warehouse Operative in Buckingham - Adecco

Job Summary

This is a temp-perm opportunity which you will need to drive to get to unless you live in the Wooburn Green area!

As a Warehouse Operative, you will help with the day-to-day running of the warehouse. You will receive, check, organise, pick, pack, and dispatch goods safely and accurately. You will work as part of a team to make sure customer orders are completed on time.

Main Duties

• Receive and check deliveries.
• Put stock away in the correct locations.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
• Prepare goods for dispatch.
• Load and unload deliveries safely.
• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and organised.
• Carry out regular stock checks.
• Report damaged or missing items.
• Follow all health and safety rules.
• Use warehouse equipment safely (training will be provided if needed).
• Help with other warehouse tasks when required.

Skills and Experience

• Good attention to detail.
• Able to work well as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to follow instructions.
• Basic reading and numeracy skills.
• Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not essential.
• Forklift licence is an advantage but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift and move goods safely.
• Comfortable standing and walking for most of the working day.
