Cover Supervisors Required - Secondary Schools Across Blackpool in Wigan - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with recent experience working with children or young people who are looking to gain classroom experience, develop their skills, or take the next step towards a teaching career.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain engaged with the work provided and maintaining a positive learning environment.
We Are Looking For Candidates With Experience In The Last 2 Years In Roles Such As:

• Cover Supervisor
• Teaching Assistant
• Learning Support Assistant
• SEN Teaching Assistant
• Youth Worker
• Sports Coach
• Teaching Coach or Tutor
• Residential Childcare Worker
• Behaviour Mentor
• Youth Club Worker
• Scout or Cadet Leader
• Dance, Drama or Performing Arts Instructor
• Holiday Camp Leader
• Alternative Provision Support Worker

• What You'll Need:
• Experience working with children or young people within the last 2 years
• Confidence managing groups of students
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• A positive and adaptable approach
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Strong references covering recent employment

Previous classroom experience is beneficial but not essential, as many schools welcome candidates from a variety of child-facing backgrounds.
