Assistant Accountant in Croydon - JMF Associates

JMF Associates is seeking an ambitious Assistant Accountant for a dynamic and fast-growing IT Services company based in Surrey. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Assistant Accountant will support transactional and management accounting.  It is envisaged that this role would suit someone who is looking to develop their career because there is a clear development path for this role as the company continues to grow.

Key responsibilities include issuing invoices, processing supplier payments, managing purchase orders, maintaining accurate records, and supporting month-end activities. The role demands a high level of organisation, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software, ideally Xero.

• Previous experience in finance or accounts administration
• Strong organisational and attention to detail skills
• Confidence with Excel and accounting software, preferably Xero
• Ability to reconcile financial data accurately
• Excellent communication skills and proactive problem solving
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
